Sorry, I should have been more specific. They are G-body TII lower intercooler hoses. (not TIII or VNT)
What I meant by "all the same" was that all 3 of the hoses you see above are the same, as in no one is better than the other.
For the R/T (TIII cars), I'm pretty sure the factory flow direction of the intercooler is opposite to TII/VNT flow direction. This hose connects the turbo outlet to the lower intercooler port. The TIII pipe comes off the turbo, goes up and connects to the top intercooler port. I can't say if you turn the turbine housing on the TIII turbo you couldn't get it to line up, but then you'd have to get a custom hose to go from the top intercooler port to the throttle body, which isn't very far from it (not good for engine roll).
