Description: This is a 1993 Plymouth Duster. It originally had the 3.0L V6. I swapped in a 2.2 Turbo from an '88 Shadow along with the 3-speed automatic transmission.

As you can see, the car is in very good shape. It has never been in a wreck and has been garage-kept most of its life. The car has been repainted its original color (black), so the door jams and engine compartment match.

The following "mods" have been installed on the car:
    • 17" Speedy Rims (Very light weight at under 20 lbs per rim)
    • Eibach springs
    • KYB shocks/struts
    • Forward Motion strut tower bar
    • Forward Motion rear panhard bar
    • Intercooler from diesel Fuso truck with 2.5" mandrel-bent piping
    • TiAL "Q" Blow-off valve
    • Accufab Fuel-pressure regulator
    • Mopar "804" injectors
    • Denso Iridium Spark Plugs
    • MSD Blaster 2 Coil
    • MSD SCI Ignition Box
    • 52 mm throttle body
    • Taylor 9 mm spark plug wires
    • Walbro 255 l/hr fuel pump
    • FWD Performance "G-valve" boost controller (set to 12 psi)
    • FWD Performance Grounding Kit
    • FWD Performance transmission cooler
    • Gauges on A-pillar (Vacuum/boost, Air/Fuel, & Oil Pressure)
    • Low-restriction OBX muffler

The only rust on the car is some minor paint-bubbling on the bottom of the rear hatchback. There are some minor door dents and paint chips. (The car was daily-driven for years.) The decals can easily be removed with heat, a razor blade, and a clay-bar kit (to remove the vinyl glue).

I have a couple parts that I will include in this transaction:
    • A'PEX i turbo timer
    • Mitsubishi turbocharger
    • Intake Air temperature sensor
    • Mopar +40% Injectors
    • GM 3-Bar MAP sensor
    • HKS "Super-sequential" Blow-off valve
    • Various extra interior trim pieces

There are a ton of more pictures if you follow the link in my signature.

I cannot deliver this car, unfortunately, but I may be able to meet within a reasonable driving distance.

Email me (or PM me for a phone number) if you are interested. Don't hesitate to make me an offer, either.

EDIT: Forgot to add that I have a custom car cover for this car that will go with it, as well.

Unfortunately, the reason I'm getting rid of the car is because I don't have room for three vehicles, so I can't take a trade.

I went for a ride in this car last summer at SDAC. It runs very smooth and is quite nice looking.
Good luck with the sale, man! Sorry to see you have to let it go.

Re: 1993 Plymouth Duster (P-body), Turbo, Very Good Condition

The Duster is sold. Thanks to everyone who showed interest in the car.

And most of all, thanks to everyone in the Turbo-Mopar community who were always here for me when I had a question about my car or just needed to vent in The Lounge. It was awesome meeting everyone at SDAC last year, too.

I hope another Turbo Mopar is somewhere in my future.

Re: 1993 Plymouth Duster (P-body), Turbo, Very Good Condition

I purchased Dusty....and the car seems to run good but after many thorough tests i am going to do a motor swap and take apart the motor and see if it can be rebuilt with just simple pistons and rings or if i need to build whole new short block....also gonna do some work on transmission as few bolts are stripped out and causing others vibrate themselves loose...shame as cars body and interior are in excellent shape and has some good parts on it and that came with it....

so in near future is 88 t2 motor swap with the garret turbo in good shape, install the plus 40s and 3 bar map, new inector harness and and computer....just hope i have the money as I still owe Vince
