Replacing Door & Quarter window glass

So some punk kids broke my windows out a few weeks ago. Does anyone have any tips for replacing the little window in the door and the small quarter window behind it??

CTS can probably give you a step by step guide for the quarter window since its probably mounted with glue. The door glass is about as straight forward as it gets. remove the panel and you'll see a couple small bolts holding the fixed rear glass in place. The moving glass has two or three guides that snap into the front channel of that black divider bar + however its attached to the window regulator. Never seen an H body in person but if it lives upto its description of being a bigger version of a P body you can replace the glass in the door in 10 minutes.

Call me dumb but whats CTS???

I'll have no problem doing the moving glass I'm a mechanic by trade so I'm sure I can handle the job. Just the other 2 windows I'm not sure about and don't want to destroy anything trying to figure it out.

    Thanks

    Ryan

Geez, Its been a veeeery long time since I worked on one of these. If the vent glass is anythig like the Spirits vent glass, The track between the vent and door glass is part of the vent. Look for the bolts alont the track between the glasses. There should be one or two down low and then one up top on the outer edge of the door. The door glass has to be all the way down or removed to get the vent in and out. It also helps to use soapywater on the back edge to help it go into the door channel. The quarter glass should be a bolt in/buytl application. Pull the interior panel and there should be a few 8mm nuts holding it in. Once those are off it should be glued with butyl. If you have the car sitting outside in the sun it should push right out. You can reinstall using 1/8 foam core butyl or urethane adhesive. NEVER uses silicone. If you choose to use urethane you will have the best seal but it will be a mofo to remove again without power tools. Both of those windows are no longer made. Whatever is out there is out there.
Like I said its been a looong time since I worked on one of those, Not many of them. Good luck and any other questions just ask.

Humm sounds easy enough. I'm going to use the butyl for re-installation cause my luck it will happen again....

Guess its time to post in the wanted section for my windows...

Thanks big time CTS and 135sohc
