Don't remember if TI garrett wastgate actuators fit on TII Garrett cars?

I've been running an external wastegate for acouple yrs now and the only wastegate actuator I can find that I have is 1 off of an 87 down TI Garrett turbo. Will this clear the intake manifold if I put it on my TII garrett with a 1 piece intake mani?

You'll need to drill some holes.

You dont have to drill any holes. Honestly, that link is overthinking it. There are 6 holes on the compressor cover. When you add a t2 cover to a t1 turbo, you just rotate it to the next set of holes and bolt the WGA back on.

You do have to do some very minor clearancing. Just grind a bit off the WGA bracket, no big deal.

Dont push the red button. You hear me?

This is similar to what I did with my turbo but I haven't yet put it back on the manifold. I was hoping it would work like this because I didn't want to have to mess up the waste gate mount like what was suggested in the past.
