Check on eBay, I got a brand new stock Chrysler Infinity CD/tape player on there for my Daytona a couple years ago. Only some of the 89 CSXs came with a tape deck (they all were supposed to though, but only some dealerships added them since they were shown that way in the brochure). Most came with just the factory style non-tape deck radio. Again, check eBay though! Got pics of your ride? If so, post over int he Owners thread!
Ive got a stock am/fm cassette out of my '88 CSXT. Want it?
I assume it works too. I was told it was working when it was pulled for a CD player. $30 shipped?
Well, I'm looking at an ebay item right now. It's a CD/Tape unit for a 97-2001 Jeep-has the 2 7-pin connectors (Grey/Black) on back with the correct front mount pattern for the bolts. Non-RAZ. If this works out, I'll stay with it. Else, I'll be back to settle for just the tape deck.
Even though this cd/tape unit is not strictly OEM stock for 1989, it's a nice unit and it looks stock. The car has a gawdy Sony aftermarket POS in it now.
