    Why can't I find any HY35's?

It's like they have fallen off the internet. I can't find any for sale. All I come up with are H1C or the new HE351VGT's, I am finding some brand new HY35's but I'm not dishing out over $600 for a Holset.

Is there a way to make the VGT's controlled without their electronics? I just want the old school internal wastegate control.

Because they are only from the auto's. Most guys with the auto trucks dont "hot rod" them to the point they need a turbo upgrade in fear of blowing up the tranny.

When I bought one I had to go to a cummins forum and just browsed the for sale section for a month.

It would be easier and maybe cheaper to chisel out one from a chunk of iron. I have been looking for a decent priced one for 4 months.....nothing.

That statement just isn't true. An Edge Juice w/Attitude or a Quadzilla Adrenaline and the HY is just about out of its efficiency range, with stock injectors. Plenty of guys upgrade they're 01's and 02's to the point of needing to upgrade, me included.

I'll sell you one Dave, I'm going to be upgrading to something else on my truck shortly, PM me if your interested.

I can get you a good rebuildable hy35. If you're interested let me know and I'll get a price. It won't include the exhaust elbow.
