Code 24 Need Help

I went out and purchased a new tps sensor from advanced auto because i got the code 24
replaced it tonight and the power limited light came and the car went into limp so i unhooked the battery and nothing changed so i put in the old one back in and the same situation with the new one car still in limp mode with both sensor so i unhooked the battery once again. hooked back no change so i drove it home with the power limited light on and when i shut the car off read the codes which are 12 24 55 but the funny thing is when i turned the car back on codes still there but no limp mode so what i am asking is should i put the new sensor back in drive on and hope it comes out of limp mode like it did with the old sensor

TPS code really means "Doh, I seem to be getting a different amount of air in here than the throttle angle sensor would indicate"

So check for vacuum leaks, check valve failures, manifold gasket leaks, throttle body gasket leaks ... ... ... in vacuum and boost. Something that's okay in boost might be bad in vacuum and vice versa, because it might be valving.

but why does it seem to come and go and when i unhook the battery it automatically comes back
