Question Need Help Oil And Fuel Problems

I Have an 86 turbo z t1 auto car and here lately i noticed i was going threw a little oil so i checked my plugs and they are really white with orange on them which i thought was kinda strange but i got to cylinder 3 and noticed the oil was pushing its way pass the plug but all the plugs are clean looking with all having orange on them. the other thing i noticed was when i take my vac line of my fpr my car seems to idle better and be more responsive so is my fpr bad and making my car run lean. i just changed my fuel filter so i know its not that

Have you checked your FP with a gauge? How much is a little oil?

Some heads are porous and leak oil around or into the plug holes. Post pics of your plugs. Do a compression and leak down test.

Did you remove the piping to the TB and open the throttle all the way during the test?

EDIT, I was late on it.

Re: Need Help Oil And Fuel Problems

With the air filter, IC piping, and closed throttle body the car will have a hard time pulling in enough air to get a good reading. Given that you have all of that hooked up, I'm fairly certain that your compression is good across all 4 cyls.

You can double check by having the throttle wide open with the TB exposed so that as much air can get ingested as possible. If you disconnect the HEP the injectors and coil won't fire.
