    Wtb complete srt4 motor/trans

I have been kicking the idea around about converting my 1994 caravan c/v over to srt4 drivetrain. So does anybody have a complete motor/trans or wrecked car they would like to get rid of? price location? The van is 3.0 with auto 3 speed and doesn't get very good gas mileage. I really would like to get everything I would need to convert it as pieceing it together always cost about three times more.

You'd be better off converting your 3.0 to 5-speed. In that case you'd gain an overdrive and still be able to run regular gas. With the SRT-4 drivetrain you'd have to run premium, and you'd be in boost way too often to get decent mileage out of it.

SRT-4 drivetrains go for around $1500-2000. That would take a long time to pay off in MPG benefits.

You maybe right on the cost. Did they ever offer a 3.0 caravan with a 5 speed?

I am not sure if they did, but they did offer the combination in Daytonas and Shadows. And I know there were 4cyl 5-speed minivans, So the parts are available to bolt in.

Never existed from the factory (should have), but all the parts are out there to make it happen.
