Can I used t2 injectors in my t1 log manifold?? They look alot different at the nozzle. I'm not looking for more boost, just need replacements and wouldn't hurt to flow a little more.

You can do it but if you dont have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or a calibration that's been rescaled for the different injector flow rate, it will run stupid rich and send your gas mileage into the low teens, based off someone i know doing this recently.

Close enough for 13mpg. I literally just did this a few months ago. Now the car has a proper cal and it gets 20-28.

I tried it on my 85 T1 log car and it ran awful. The computer was not able to adapt to them, it was an MP unit though. Not sure if that had any effect.
1991 Chrysler Lebaron GTC convertible - a568 - 15psi FWD Stage 3, FMIC, TII Garrett turbo, two of the big ones
I did this for about a week or two, cant say it did me any good. Adam, I think I told you about that when we took the Charger over. You also have to modify the TII injectors to fit into the T1 fuel rail. Least, I had to anyway
okie doke. guess i'm not gunna put those in then...and both the pick n pulls i went to didn't have any t1's to get any from...but they did have 6 t2's so i'm going back for connectors, heps, tps, maps blah blah blah
Thanks for the help everyone..
How much was the hit in mpg for you guys that ran with the T2 injectors in a one piece T1 setup?
Grab up those T II parts!
Manifolds, intercoolers, radiators, complete motors...
I was talking about a 1pc setup, but still running stock log electronics so the mpg and running issues should be the same.

try shadowfromhell he has a bounch of t1 stuff , might beable to pick up the injectors for a fair price
I guess i should point out that there's only a difference on 2.2 t1s. 2.5t1s with a 1pc already come with injectors the same size as a t2 so there would be no difference in that case. How much was the hit in mpg for you guys that ran with the T2 injectors in a one piece T1 setup?
Now if you guys want to get clever like me and make a home-made AFPR out of the old log FPR and then run it in parallel with the stock regulator on the 1pc fuel rail, or in place of the stocker on a log.. that would work.
