    WTB couple P-body interior pieces

Looking for new or nice used rear package tray or shelf in gray. This is panel between rear speakers. Please no cracked or bent (junk). Must be 87-89.

Also looking for center console switch base and switch panel for 2 dr P-body. This is switch & bottom filler panel for vehicles equipped with power mirror/power windows. Switch cover must be for 2 door Shadow/Sundance. #7 & 8 in attached pic. Prefer power mirror only, but will consider switch panel with PM and PW. Any color will do. I can paint to match my gray interior.

What makes the switch plate 2dr specific ? I've got one, never could find the filler/riser piece #7 to use it though so I went another direction for my install.

    Craig,
Not sure exactly why but the parts book shows a different switch cover # for the 2 & 4 drs. I have 2) 4 dr switch covers and they seem to be about 1/2" longer than they should be to fit into my 2 dr console. I also had a 4 dr filler/riser piece and after trying to fit it in my 2 dr. console along with the 4 dr switch cover, it wouldn't fit. Now it seems (according to parts book) that the filler panel is the same between the 2 & 4 drs. Looks lile I threw out the 4 dr filler panel because I can't find it now. Probably went to the crusher when I scraped the 4 dr out last year.

Marty, Thanks for the reply. Why is it everything you own is gold plated? Maybe with the correct cover & switch I'd be willing to pay that shipped. In the meantime, still looking...

Todd, I think I've got a couple 89 ES consoles, both from 2 dr cars. I'll see if those switches are in there next time I'm up at the barn.

    Hey Todd,

I believe I have a few of those fiber-board rear shelf tray thingys... Years ago, every one I found would be sagged and/or cracked. (same thing for '89+ P-body grilles) So, when I'd come across a good one, I'd snag it. I *should* have an extra or two if you are in a bind (it's just stashed away overhead in my garage)

I can't verify what years they are form, though... as I thought they were all the same? (I know the rear side panels and seats changed in like '91 or '92)

Okay thanks Dave. LMK what you find. Car is sitting comfortably waiting for Spring to arrive, so no hurry.

Okay Steve LMK what you can spare. I just did some searching through the parts books. Looks like style changed in 1991. I remember trying one that a friend had and it didn't fit. But can't remember if the forward edge is curved or straight on the old or new? I'll check it out on my car and report back which one I need. In 87, they made a silver but no charcoal or quartz. In 88, they made a charcoal, but no silver or quartz. In 89 & 90 they made a quartz. In 91 (the new style), they also made a quartz. Prefer quartz (gray), but charcoal will work too. So in review, 88-90 is what I'm after in charcoal or quartz.
BTW I do have a spare 89 shadow grille if you or anyone else needs one.

    Okay Steve reporting back,
It looks like the early 87-90 rear package trays have a straight forward edge. The end with the pivots on them. That is the easiest way for me to tell if it's early or 91+ package tray. LMK if you or anyone else has one they are willing to part with one. Price $ plus shipping to 55431.

I'll try and take a peek in the next few days as I'm real busy with a porting job to do, line boring an old 1942 Seagrave after hours at work, and also moving in the GF into my house. hehehe

If you don't hear back from me... feel free to drop me a PM as I don't usually view all my older posts.

I didn't forget ya Todd. I've just had SO much on my plate these last 2 weeks besides my day job: I just spent the past 3 nights porting some harley heads (finished at 2am this morning) then up and out to the shop where I'm at right now line boring the babbit main line on a 1942 Seagrave firetruck engine until late night tonight, then tomorrow, too. In between that I am moving in my GF, my cat needs to be euthanzied, and I have boxed up parts for people to ship out on monday. Phew!

I'll get there (they are piled up overhead in my garage...)

Okay found the filler panel for my PW switch. For the record the 2&4 doors are specific, but the switch panel works for 2&4 door cars. Weird...
Still looking for the quartz, grey, charcoal rear package tray for 87-90 P-body. I found 2 broken ones :-(. I know Steve, but bumping anyway (lol). Shameless plug.

Nope, sorry... Both of my VNT Shadows had grey interiors. I shoulda stockpiled interior/exterior stuff back in the day as I saw plenty of those and my friend gives me really good discounts at his yard.
