If that was done when this was purchased, regardless of the purchasers saviness to the details, then the porting (or lack thereof) would have come out immediately, and in such a timespan that the seller would have had to have addressed the issue.
Heck, some companies require their products to be looked at before they're signed for my the delivery company. A speaker company I know of, for example, won't take back damaged goods once they're signed for.
Anyway, I know hindsight is 20/20 and all that, and I've nothing to say on the actual piece of hardware in question, but just throwing down some comments for the future...since this thread will undoubtably be on the web for years to come.

Well, I am disappointed that Chris has chosen to not reply to this thread as he said he would or answer my pm's. I called him two weeks ago and hoped he would provide more input here.
As it stands right now, the head is on the motor and is running; all that's needed is tuning and hopefully that will be complete by this weekend. Once I drive it, enjoy it, etc, I plan on getting the Clown Car on a dyno for some numbers. When the HG fails (or some other issue requring the head to come off) I will have the head flow tested against a stocker for comparisons. At that time, I may choose to have it ported or maybe go with another head.
I want to thank all of you who contributed to this thread even though some was negative, I have learned a lot. I will also admit that, not just because of this head situation but just working on the Clown Car and with those who have, I know a lot more than I did 3 1/2 yrs ago when I bought it and all of the mods.
Thank you again!
Tony, I look forward to the numbers and moreover, stories of you driving and enjoying the car. Chalk this one up to live and learn.
Best of luck Tony. I am looking forward to seeing it run and then hearing about your exploits.
