What exactly needs to be machined and welded?

Rods need to be threaded, pivot bushing holes need to be enlarged and sometimes the rear pivot shaft is loose and needs to be welded to it's bracket.
All these operations are covered in detail in the instructions included with the kit.

Back in stock and ready to ship.
Material costs have increased, so unfortunately, so has the price of the kit.
New price is $70. USPS priority mail shipping is included with this price.

We now have a kit for early style crossmember mounted L- body linkage too.

Same price as the standard kit.

Have you guys noticed a difference between the carbed GLH main rod that runs forward from the shifter and the one in the turbo cars? I had a doozy of a time getting my kit installed and believe this to be the problem. It works great now.

    Video to follow.

I've never seen or installed our kit on a carbed GLH, so the answer to that would be no. I'm happy to know you were able to make it work. Do you have any photos?

No photos because I didn't notice all of the differences until it was on the car. I do have a pretty good video which will show them though. It looks to me like the carb cars have the rod on the opposite side of the bracket that goes to the shifter and the part where the ball attaches is very much angled toward the front of the car vs. the turbo cars. That's the main problem.

The video is up in the SDAC members only section if you want to check it out.

Nice work on the kit. I think this is the first thing which I've purchased or received from a vendor that was a custom TM piece and it worked as it should with no mods. The kit is fantastic and just needs a couple of notes for a NA car installation, but that wasn't a huge deal.

Here is actually a great video showing what the NA piece looks like. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks much different than the piece in the instructions?

I'm waiting to be approved for the SDAC forum. I'll chech the video as soon as JT lets me in.
Early linkage had the main shift rod pivot on the K frame. We have parts and instructions for those, but we don't get many requests for those.
Thanks for the input and compliments.

Fortunately with this situation you just need a different method of adjusting the present kit. It works really well.
