I need some help from someone who knows something (becuase I sure don't!)

I bought a 1989 UMC Utilimaster (Dodge Aeromate). It has a 2.5 Liter Dodge four cylinder - 2 wheel FWD Automatic. It's build on the 1989 Dodge Caravan chassis. My mechanic was removing the timing belt sprocket from the Crank Shaft when the casting broke. The sprocket has 20 teeth on it. 1989 Caravans are pretty hard to find in junk yards and those that are running (obviously) aren't selling for parts. Any common block crank sprocket will work - they're all the same. TBI or Turbo. Just find any '89 - 93 Chrysler 4 cylinder in the junkyard, it will have the right crank sprocket.

I've seen 3 cracked while on the car, not even being pulled
actually had one that would jump timing on the belt till it shut off

Interesting, well turns out its a 86 2.5 tall deck, so I guess that happens, when he mentioned 89 I assumed common block,

Some more info, lol, turns out chatting with the owner and mechanic, looks like its a 84 2.2,

Got him fixed up,
