Any reason why I couldnt use the bearing/synchro kit for the 89 520/555 in place of the much more costly version for the 523/568 ? The front intermediate shaft bearing & race, oil slinger and shift fork pads are the only difference that I can tell between the two kits and I have those parts taken care of already through other means.
I really only need the snychro rings and $225 for the 520 kit vs $400+ for the 523 version is talking to me...
