Ahh the famous words of TM. "I am interested depending on price" Lengel's prices are usually awesome though.

Seriously though. Some people sit down and write stories or a book. I think Lengel sits down and writes CNC code for fun.

Re: TIII CNC Machined water box from Lengel Racing

I would like one if it were to be build similar to the factory looks wise and have a spare 3/8NPT drill and tap for an aftermaket water temp gauge. I would also want both the billet water box and neck to have receiving groves for an O-ring so neither Mopar gaskets are ever needed. The water neck could even be countersunk for some sexy S/S FHSCS to hold it on. On the rear where the stock nipple comes out for the stock coolant return that would be nice to just be the 3/8NPT as well so it can be capped off for those of us that dont use a water cooled turbo. Those that do would just use a 3/8 hose barb fitting that threads in with sealer.

Anyone else want to add anything lol

I will take one or ten Adam lol

Re: TIII CNC Machined water box from Lengel Racing

I guess the stock waterbox has always done fine by me, although my goals with my cars are very modest and at this point all I want out of my projects is to start the key and hear them run!

Seems to me the Masi guys could really use a waterbox though. I have a head that is missing the waterbox and radiator hose neck. The hose neck appears to be made of porous aluminum that gets pitted very badly as well.

If you remove the factory turbo return fitting, you can tap it for 3/8, that's what I did when I didn't use a turbo with water cooling.

Great idea on the o-rings, and use the same ones as the waterpump housing so they are easy to source. Tired of making my own thermostat gaskets,

i think u pretty much covered it lol....i was going to say def need to add an extra NPT plug or 2. i thought bolting a mechanical guage right to the housing would be sweeet! on board under hood temps! def down for the o rings!! i hate spending money on gaskets lol

Thats what I have done also. Just enough room for a 3/8NPT. On the Holset cars I use that area for the aftermarket water temp gauge sender. I just sadi to do it so when the custom piece is done we dont have to modify it,just bolt on and go lol

"The sole condition which is required in order to succeed in centralizing the supreme power in a democratic community, is to love equality, or to get men to believe you love it. Thus the science of despotism, which was once so complex is simplified, and reduced . . . . to a single principle."
    -- Alexis de Tocqueville

"One of the methods used by statists to destroy capitalism consists in establishing controls that tie a given industry hand and foot, making it unable to solve its problems, then declaring that freedom has failed and stronger controls are necessary."
    --Ayn Rand

"To evolve, you don't need a Constitution. All you need is a legislature and a ballot box . . . . things will evolve as much as you want. All of these changes can come about democratically; you don't need a Constitution to do that and it's not the function of a Constitution to do that."

Carroll your too funny! Maybe Im looking at this wrong, but I just dont see this being worth the amount of macine work it would take. I was looking at a spare water box today and I dont think you would be able to fit everything you guys want on it. LOL (fillcap, and four npt ports) I may be able to make some of these down the road, but for now Im focusing on some stuff for my car.
