My wife is looking at an 07 Pacifica Limited. Does anyone have any experience with these machines? The other thing she was looking at was an 07 Saturn Outlook XR. The saturn looks a little bigger, but I like the looks of the Pacifica better.

Really have not heard anything overly bad about them... I'd go for the Pacifica over the Saturn tho. OR if you really like the Saturn, look at the GMC Acadia, Chevy Traverse or Buick Enclave. Those all share the same platform.. and you won't have to deal with a brand that was phased out. I suppose that doesn't really matter, as I *think* most GM dealers will handle the Saturns. But you never know.

My mother has one she likes it, and I wouldn't mind taking it off her hands when she wants a newer car.

Converters seem to be the only call I see. The owner of my store actually has one and has replaced his too.
My wife's been driving an '07 for about a year and a half. We have the 6-passenger version. I like it, she says it's too slow. But, then, she drives with a lead foot. With her driving, she averages ~20mpg. When I drive it I get 22 or so. I much 'nicer' to the throttle than her...
Ours is the 4.0L, 6-speed auto version.
We were looking at the Saturn because it was cheaper than the rest of the GM clones for the same platform. It's hard to find a fully loaded one though. Finding a fully loaded Pacifica Limited is somewhat hard as well, but they don't seem to sell as quick as the Outlooks do.

My aunt and my ex- girlfriend have 06 and 07 versions and they both love them. I drove the 06 off and on and it wasn't too bad. I have always liked the looks of them.

Do not buy a Saturn anything. The last generation before the brand was axed was only a couple year run, parts (body and interior mostly) will be very diffcult to come by in the near future. I'm going to have a similiar issue with my Pontiac G6 as well.Originally Posted by TopDollar69
