I have the pin for the smec, let me see what I can dig up on Tuesday for the connector.

What year do you want the charge temp sensor connector?

I used a 3.0 coolant temp sensor pigtail. Worked without any problems. Got that out of the junkyard.

Are you sure it wasn't the CAT sensor pigtail as 3.0L came with CAT sensors? I tried that and there different plugs. You just have to look inside and you can see the differences between coolant and CAT sensors.

3.0s desn't have Charge temp sensors.

Beside I'm pretty sure I know my way around a 3.0. I raced one for 6yrs. I pulled a connector from a later model car.

Right on Simon, the 87 Mini I stripped had one right in the "back" of the plenum.

I've used the coolant sensor pigtail right from a 2.2 on a car I converted.

Re: wtb: male air charge sensor connector & SMEC pin

Will logic module pins fit into the SMEC plug? I have the pins and male connector for the temp sensor from my charger to put into the van and need to know if they will fit.

Also...does aybody have the SMEC pinouts? Do both the leads from the charge air temp sensor plug into the SMEC?

edit: sorry for the hijack ryan. Which wire is signal, and which is ground? It plugs into pin 21 (I had to search TD.com).

Re: wtb: male air charge sensor connector & SMEC pin

I've got a smec 60 pin here I could pop a couple pins out of and send them to you. I also have a IAT plug, the insulation is a little brittle at the plug, but you can have it.

Matt, black with red tracer is signal, whatever the other wire is would be ground.

Sh*t, sorry, forgot, seems Tyler has it, if not, I can send it to you.

Coolant sensor pigtails probably fit the older log CAT sensors, I have tried the coolant pigtails on the newer ones, don't fit, trust me, I tried, I have lots of coolant pig tails lying around.
