Yes, my legs are long. I have to take out the arm rest in my GLHs to shift those too. My brother is more like you with slightly shorter legs so he has an easier time in small cars. He also wears a size 13 shoe so he can buy them in a store. Lucky.
yeah i was a stick man in middle school. same height by the end of middle school and 150 maybe. by my senior year i was 210.

Boy I'm glad I'm only 6 ft lol
Yarr, designers usually only plan to ergonomically accommodate up to the 95th percentile height (and other dimensions), which is historically 6'1" or 6'2" for more recent studies, and that's "normally proportioned"

Nice looking Fiero Reinaldo! And you've certainly made some nice improvements. From what I've read, the engine cradle in the rear of your Pontiac is exactly the same as the front end of my old X-11...if only the Internet had been available before I sold this car back in the 90's!
Good luck, I'm looking forward to your updates

That was a sweet looking X-11 and I'm a fan of them. What you said about the internet is very true! Well, if you get one again I can help you turn it into the UX-11 (U is for Ultra which is a Greek word for "beyond").

A man has got to know his limitations.....
There has been a X-11 on my local CL for like 6 months. I think he is asking $500
What kind of shape? As long as the body is good, I can do the rest. Hate body work. lol.

I can find out for you, I dont mind going to look at it either. I never went to look because I love odd 80's stuff and was afraid I would bring it home!
Of course, now I cant find it . But I keep a real good eye on CL, and if it shows up again I will let you know
Sweet. Maybe Paul and I could go halvsies on it and do a midwest build?????? LOL.

The point is the 3x00 60*s have more balls than the 3800 (n/a) without the help of a supercharger even though it has less displacement. A much better platform to start out with considering Fieros already came with a 60* V6. I've driven both a 3800 n/a in W-body is a dog while a 60* W-body is fairly stout. If the 3800 was better they would have axed the 60* and continued on with the 3800 series. There are 12 sec n/a 3400 cars out there, I don't see any remotely quick 3800 n/a's out there. GM knew it was time to move from V8s with 2 cylinders chopped off and start a clean sheet V6.Not sure of your point, take away the turbo on our engines and you get the same, a generic hunk of weaksauce engine.
It still lost to a car running substantially less boost and driving the front wheels. I will say weight is the enemy of that match up.Both fail, the GN was an old slow one, lol, but still a good vid.
The turbo Z24 v6 is lighter, has more torque, more hp etc. I'd say the SRT-4 lost fair and square.SRT should pull better than that.
Once again the 3400 car was still running b*tch boost and a GA is not really THAT much lighter than a GP. 3091lbs vs 3,383 lbs. They are both pretty porky cars. If I was seeking a hi-po GM v6 the 60* would be the way to go, the 3800 does not even have the option of a manual transmission in fwd trim.So the much lighter GA beats a much heavier car, hmmmmmmmmm.
Same comment as above. Don't get me wrong but come on, both engines have there place.
I'm pretty sure you can swap a 3800 to a 5spd, but if you mean they didn't come from the factory that way then you're correct.

yeah i think you use a camaro 3800 flywheel cut thinner and it bolts together. i dont remember the details on the clutch and starter though but its been done and its not a hard swap.

Yes, the FWD engines have the same bolt pattern for both 90* V6 & 60* V6. It is the RWD that is different between the 4.3/5.0/5.7 and 2.8/3.1. The 3800 is the same pattern as the 2.8/3.1 in RWD, also.
