89 CSX VNT and parts

The only thing the car is missing is the rear bumper spoiler, but it does have an after market one that looks similar. It has a set of silver five spoke wheels on it that will come with the car and I have a set of fiberides that will also be included. There is some rust inside the spare tire well from the inside as if a plug was left out, and water got in through the hole. It also has a spot of rust on the hatch at the bottom right corner of the window. The hood has some wrinkles and some rust on the front lip, the rest of the body is perfect. The rust in the spare tire well is the only spot, it was a California car, all the floor pans/frame are good. The interior is awesome accept for a bit of scuffing on the driver Recaro bolster and on the shelby floor mats, the passenger Recaro is perfect. Under the hood is clean and un molested. It runs great accept the turbo which is brand new from FWDP, doesnt boost until around 2500 rpm or so. It gives a code for the map sensor but I havnt checked into it other than that. Has title issues I have the California title but I never registered it and niether did the previous owner, it hasnt been registered in several years. I have a bunch of extra parts, that will go with the car. Here is a quick list I'm sure theres more but this should be most of it.



extra turbo with little shaft play and exhaust mani.

set of axles, and half shaft.

shifter and cables in good shape

front and rear calipers

rad/ic/fan combo pretty much shot/corroded maybe good for a core?

injectors and fuel rail

complete set of motor and tranny mounts/brackets

front csx grill with some damage but repairable (mounting tabs broken)

plymouth header panel for the grill

rear deck spoiler

a mint set of head and tail lights These are very nice no fading or scratches

csx vnt interior harness complete

a ton of extra interior parts including a full center console with both compartment doors and latches working, 2 clusters 2 radio bezels, all the grey plastic interior covers, door handles etc.

set of the shelby plaques that go on the interior rockers

set of 5 spoke aluminum wheels

$3000 OBO with all the parts included. MAY consider trades or partial trades it wouldnt hurt to ask.

What Shelby number is it, and is the Shelby number dash plaque still present? If I remember correctly, you had posted awhile ago that you had parted out '89 CSX #461.

Its number 226. Yes the dash plaque is present. All of the Shelby Items are present even the floor mats. The only thing missing from the car is the rear bumper spoiler which can be had from Johnny at Polybushings.com. Still need to get some pictures taken, I'll try and get some posted up this weekend.

I checked this car out over the weekend. The car is over all in great shape. I was surprised how quiet the top end was. He has a signed but dated title from the original owner. So retitling it will not be a problem but you would have to paid late fees. The car has been repainted a candy apple red. I liked the color on the car. The interior is clean and good shape. I ended up buy some of the extra parts from him. I have two cars and my wife would kill me if I bought another car.

BTW the paint is in good shape that was snow falling on the car, in the pics.
