    boosting to just 6psi?

car is boosting to 5-6 psi even with the wastegate going to the correct solenoid. only way to get it to go higher is to include a bleed, which im trying to avoid so the computer (stageIII, 18psi) controls boost.

any ideas. i know its something i am overlooking. i also checked the other turbo vacum line that goes to the same solenoid and thats hooked up as well to the correct spot.

yep the orifice was in there.

the only thing i can think of is I didnt run the car long enough for it to learn that it (the computer) had control of the wastegate. I only drove it for a few blocks.

uhh, I thought engine temp had to reach a certain point before the computer would unlock full boost. Is/was you car fully warming up?

If it was warmed up properly, check for codes. You could be running in conservative mode.

or your wastegate could be weak, try putting washers as shims to pull it away from the turbo a little and put more tension on the swing valve.
or adjust it in if it is adjustable arm
