    hub replacement help

I need to replace my front hubs, they are 513075 part number, the type that bolts onto the spindle with 4 bolts, my question is, do i have to pull axles out, and undo the ball joint, can i get access to 4 bolts easily, and undo the axle bolt, any help is welcome, thanks!!

remove the brake hold down brakett and remove the rotor and remove the c/v nut.then all the hub bolt will come out and remove the bearing .clean any dirt that might fall down in behide the bearing when you bolt it back up.peaceof cake.p/s if the bearing does not want to come out of the hub put the bolts back in a little and hit on the heads to get the bearing to move .good luck grass hopper

Like 5-sp said, pull the caliper and rotor. Remove the 4 bolts and the axle nut. If needed, you can used a BFH to persuade the bearing out of the spindle. If your not sure about the axle shaft, gently tap on the end to make sure it slides in the hub. The bearing will come off with out separating the ball joint or pulling the axle. I never pull the axles on bolt in style hubs.

Aha! Thanks, I was expecting it'll be a breeze, Im throwing new hubs on my dynasty before a roadtrip, I picked two timken hubs, I was hoping that It wouldn't be necessary to pull axles out.

    Re: hub replacement help

That hub ended up being stuck on the axle, major pain! Not even a 7 ton 3 jaw could pull it off, neither a sledge hammer could! Anyone else have such of difficult hubs/axle?
