Part # for bearing is same as original with an "A" suffix. 69349A. This will get you back about 1/2 of what you lost by shimming bearing out .260". It has no radius for hub and will contact bearing shim more fully. Phil Turner

What do you mean by getting half back. The shimming is to get the gear in the correct spot so changing the bearing will move the gear again requiring a different shim?
When you shim the bearing away from gear to move its position, the bearing inner race will hang off the end of gear hub about .260. You gain back some of this contact area by switching bearings. Phil Turner
So a different shim would need to be used then or the .26 one will still put the gear in the same position. I'm having a hard time finding actual dimensions of the two bearing to compare.
The bearing change does not change shim thickness. Same as Shell Game's size. Have bearing in hand. The only difference is the radius on the gear side of the inner race. No radius. Phil Turner
Ok I think I'm understanding it correctly. I'll have to find a bearing now. Napa lists the regular one but not the other. I may have to contact our bearing supplier through work and see what they can get.
Motion Industries has listing for the bearing. Napa got mine from somewhere other than their warehouse. Had 2 freights on it $30 plus total. Phil Turner
Just purchased a JL69349A from Summit Racing for $21 including shipping since no one locally said they could order one.
