    Need shifter cables

I need the shifter cables for a 1988 Daytona Shelby Z with an A-555 tranny.

One of mine has quit working correctly. The one that's bad is the one that is
parallel to the axels when it's installed.

The one I need is part no. 4431 341 which has been replaced with part no. 4504 304

Let me know what you've got and how much shipped to 47201

    Thanks,
    Tony

    Re: Need shifter cables

Well, I need a shifter cable now...it broke...and no, I wasn't power shifting. Jonah and I pulled out of the drive way to go to Scouts last night and it snapped before we got to the end of the block.

Can't find them anywhere. Dealer has none, some talk about autozone having them for '87. Which years will fit? Only 88/89 or more than that. Some seem to have had luck with 87 cable but had to modify one of the brackets.

This the Daytona I had. My nephew has it now.

Can a A-568 cable be modified to fit?

    Thanks

    Re: Need shifter cables

Looks like they are $750.00 each.........a little bit high for something that was less than $50.00 from the
    dealer when they carried them.

I kinda understand the price if they are the only ones on the planet.

Rx2mazda had some NICE cables made for his 568 and they were nowhere near $750 for the pair.
