    1987 Chrysler LeBaron

Found this in Haigler, Nebraska. Car looks solid, but I wasn't able to check the floors. T1-5-speed. It's been sitting for ten years or so. The guy said that he parked it because it started using a lot of oil.

So...non-running Lebaron that looks solid. What's it worth?

People stop driving them and sell them cheap because no one seems to know how to work on them and parts are getting hard to find.

Ten years out in a field and that car is going to be a TON of work to get back on the road. Going to need tires, brakes, vacuum lines, a fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel hoses, the gas tank probably needs to be boiled out, coolant needs to be flushed. I'll bet the coolant hoses are toast and the radiator is plugged up. Who knows how many mice are living inside the car by now. And all that's before the oil problem is addresses. Oh, and did I mention the turbo is probably shot and the head gasket and timing belt need to be replaced? In short, $250 is probably the most it is worth. Hell, he should pay you to take the car away...

Unless it was sprayed, I wouldn't bet a bent nickel on it having floors, condensation will have got them with it parked on the grass... it's often better if they settle into mud, cuts off the oxygen.

This most of all. Sitting there for 10 years, there's no floor left in that car if the grass was up like it is in that pic the whole time.
