Looking for one for either myself or a friend. Looking for a good solid car, most importantly. Let me know what you have.
If interested, I have a bone stock, 92K mile '87 GLHS that I would trade out with should someone be interested in it.
Thanks!

i may know of an 89 lancer shelby
So who has it and is it for sale
Paul B
My dad has one Shelby Lancer needs a repaint (its all there just faded) Being a Utah/Nevada car there is little to no rust on the car and runs very good! I think he is looking for around $2k or for $4,500 i bet he would sell Shelby Lancer #800 yes the last numbered! It is VERY VERY nice not quite a show car but pretty close. Both are in utah PM me if you are interested
Yeah, it would be the perfect driver/user car for me down here for the time being, plus I've always loved them.
Damn , I didn't know you were looking for one , I'll keep my eyes open !!
While I dig the S/L I prefer the L/S , remember the one I was looking at awhile back , I'm still pissed I didn't just buy it !!?? ( the only thing I didn't buy)

Get in touch tomorrow if you have time , we're done around Noon ......
Besides the s/l is numbered and the l/s isn't what's the difference
u know it
ya i REALLY need to get that thing!!!!!
no one has it......yet. I just knows of it
not much. the LS would come with SMEC wiring, and has the upper roof spoiler.
the 89 LS I have a line on is actually more rare then a shelby lancer.
and if it is an 89, its pretty much the cream of the crop. just think of it like the CSX's. 89 was the best year to get one!!!
so ya the 89 LS is garrett, 2.2 A555, 2.5" swingvalve with large can, intercooled, all wheel disk brakes...yada yada....pretty much a TII daytona setup, but packed into the 4 door
I have one for sale. It needs a turbo.
2022 Viper runs 9s
89 ls is a t2 car and SL's aren't .
Actually the 88-89 Lancer Shelbys all have drum rear brakes, same goes for the 89 LeBaron GTS. I'm not sure that they have the solid rear axle either. Back when I parted out the 88 that I used to own I didn't even think to check the rear axle to see if it was solid, but the front sway bar was only the 1 1/8th. So you do get slightly better brakes, and most likely a better rear sway bar-axle assembly on the 87 SL.
