    alky low pressure switch

    anyone got an idea for a warning switch/light when pressure is down on alky system , that would give me and maybe others peace of mind ? i already got the pump ON light

    Use a Hobb's switch.

    It's a good idea. I had a pump die but it still made noise, so I wrongly assumed it still worked. A hobbes switch should work fine even if it's set to 10 psi.

    The SHURflo-based alky pumps (what most vendors use) have a built-in pressure switch on the outlet, that you can use to drive an outlet pressure indicator light.

    It will tell you if the pump is putting out pressure, but it won't let you know if your nozzle has clogged and the pressure is really high but there is no flow.

    ths guys il look into that , i dont want to be affraid that the pump will die on full boost on street gas

    Not sure how to use that on pump switch.

    A pressure switch right next to the nozzle will also show if there is air in the line (As long as it set above boost pressure)
