    Gus' pages.
    Google: Gus Mahon, slugmobile
And you should find his pages, from there he has tech diagrams and instructions.

The valve can be assembled two ways. Since the valve is intended as a vacuum check and pressure relief.

For our purpose if the brass elbow in the pic has the tiny orifice drill hole, then that is the outlet. You want the check ball under the spring. So the part layout is threaded body, check ball, spring, then lock nut and adjusting cap.

You can simply run a pressure line from your manifold or turbo outlet to the threaded end nipple (that's the inlet) and the outlet (with the brass elbow and tiny drill hole) to the wastegate can.

That is the most basic. Start with the adjustment out, and slowly adjust in putting more pressure on the spring. The more pressure on the spring, the higher the boost must be to push past the spring pressure and actuate the wastegate.

You can pre-set them using an air source like a compressor or a hand pump to get them close to your desired boost pressure and then fine tune on the vehicle.

Use Gus'page for tips to get fancy with switched solenoids for multiple boost settings.

    Does that help?

    Re: Grainger Valves (Boost Controller)

Okay, I see what I did wrong and why it's over boosting.
It is all the way in, that is the way it came and I will change it.
I have it hooked up right, just did not know how to adjust it.

    Re: Grainger Valves (Boost Controller)

    Found out what was wrong.
The ball was assembled on the wrong end of the spring.
I Had it all the way "out" and still over boosted. Took it
apart to see how it all worked. Switched it....
    Works perfect now.
