Just a reminder to everyone. Saturday May 14th is the all Mopar show at Pay Pal. This is our monthly meeting. Registration starts at 9:00 and the awards are at 3:30. $20.00 entry fee this year but includes a t-shirt and goody bag if you get there soon enough.

Did anyone from the group win anything at the Mopar car show last week? I had to leave early.

I won first with the omni, third with the truck. Greg won first with his challenger, 2nd with the viper and i think 2nd with the 72 road runner. My dad took 2nd with his 66 hemi charger

Im registered for SDAC. I got my own room so i dont have to sleep with steve.

Wow. I'm hurt. You have no idea what you will be missing! I don't even snore (much). I guess maybe Ray will be the lucky one! Ha ha. I might end up getting my own room too. No offense guys but 4 to a room can be a little crowded. Besides I can't stay up late like you young whipper snappers.

I just updated the hotel thread in the SDAC forum. They have extended our cutoff date till June 15th, and have added a few rooms to our block.

Looks like I am going to SDAC. I can't afford my own room so who has an extra bed? If not I will pick a cheaper place to stay nearby. Also, they aren't giving much of a discount unless you got a better deal than what was listed. AAA discount is like $77.00 a night I think. That isn't with taxes and maybe the SDAC price is with taxes. Thanks, Steve.

Individual room price depends on the size of the room and number of people in it. I didn't want to have a bunch of different prices so I asked them to quote for "any room up to 4 people in the room". So one of the cheaper rooms with only 1 or 2 people in it will be less.

But if folks would help us out it will be appreciated. If they register in the SDAC block (and maybe pay a couple bucks more per night), SDAC gets credit for the room sale. If we sell enough room/nights, then we get a break on the rooms we book for our use, and for the price of the meeting space we rent. Those costs could well come in at about $1500 so the savings is important to us. If we don't get enough room/nights sold, then we pay the full boat for our use.

To my knowledge, it's only Ray, Amber, and I in my room, so we've got a spot yet. And I can bring our inflatable mattress if anyone wants to use it. I really don't use it because it plays hell on my back.
