Yeah, not a biased selection at allOriginally Posted by Clay
I can see the PTs being considered classics, and the high-end TDs, but wheres the guessing in saying 'Ferrari Enzo'? like duh ... and as for the '80s being the low point, what a load of crap - wheres the Zakspeed Capri, RS 1600i, Peugeot 205 T16, Lotus Sunbeam, Renault 5 Turbo, VW Golf GTi and BMW M3? (and all the other great European budget performance cars of the '80s).
Humph ... time to go feed the cats ...
Gee, I can't quite tell who the TD enthusiasts on that list are....

# 10 1985 Shelby GLH
I'd have to agree most with Dave's list.
Alot of cars that shouldn't be there on the lists, and others that never made it.
'87 GNX is the obvious #1
'89 T/A 20th Anniverssary is in the top count, too.
Syclone
Typhoon
ZR-1
Fieros (w/the v-6)
SHO's
2003 Cobra Mustangs
WS6 Trans Ams possibly
'86 GLHS
'89 CSX
IROC R/Ts
Spirit R/Ts
(my biased opinion)
WRX/STis
EVOs
SRT-4s
S2000
Eclipse GSX and their 4-door awd turbo 2.0 counterparts... VR4?
C6 Z06
Then there's the cars coming out now which are becoming too much. Shelby GT500 will be a mean car.

I noticed a few inaccuracies in there. It'd be more interesting to see a full consolidated list.
Haha..can't list them all ya know I didn't even include my '90 competition package VNT Shadow.Originally Posted by GLHSKEN

The 93 Iroc R/T's must have been #11 on everybody's list! That's ok, I think I'll keep my blue Iroc R/T and show everyone that you can come from behind and win.

Yeah...if they are going to consider an IROC R/T... it should be the '93 over the '92. Same for the Spirit R/T.
What are the credentials for the pople that posted those cars. Look like it's just anybody's opinion... which then doesn't matter to me.

I think almost all of my turbo cars were listed in there somewhere!
'92 Spirit R/T
'87 Shelby Lancer
'03 SRT-4
'93 Daytona IROC R/T (admittedly a parts car)
I'm even holding out hope that someday my 43,000 mile original owner (hell it still has the original windshield wipers!) '98 Neon R/T coupe might be somewhat on a future collectorable list.

It is just anybody's opinion. McLellan, which sells a lot of collectible auto literature, does that survey every year.Originally Posted by Directconnection
I think Im right with the J body convertables. They were super popular when they came out, and Chrysler sold a large amount of them. That leads me to believe that they will be popular in the future, plus its a blast to drop top down and go for a cruise.

I agree with you. I've always thought the J-body convertibles were great-looking cars. If they don't become classics, they ought to.
