Hey. I have been racking my brain to figure out why my car runs like crap. When its cold it will start right away then die. I have to keep it revved up for a few minutes before it will stay running on it own. Before it starts running smoothly it will rev up to about 1800 then down to 500 a few times and level out at 1k-1200. I have already replaced my IAC, cleaned the throttle body, checked plugs, wires, and rotor. O2 is new. I also changed my injectors and the same thing happens. I hope to hell its not my cal. Can somebody please chime in and help me figure this out.

any codes? What's your Cal? Sounds like it has something to do with the cold start fueling. After 60 seconds does it stay idling? Maybe the cold start is too lean? This is where a wideband helps tons.

88 shelby z 2.5cb t2 a555...basically took everything off my 2.2 t2 and put it on the 2.5. TU cal set at 14psi...I think its a little longer than 1min maybe 2min or more idk I never timed it.

when you replaced your iac did you do the steps to reset it?
checked for vac leaks?

probably needs more fuel at startup.
