Of the 2 barbed ports on the t3's throttle body, is it normal to not have any vacuum at the larger of the 2 barbs? I just noticed today i had no vaccum there as i was messing around re-doing my vac lines after installing my greddy rs bov. Ran my vac line there and had no bov function, i have ran my bov's there tons of times on turbo cars even my mini and had no problem. So i took the line off while running to find nooo vaccum there.
one barb is pre throttle plate, one is post throttle plate.
Yes run your BOV off the small nipple on the TB. Thats where I always do and it seems to work the best there. No vacuum at the larger nipple.
ahhhh ok cool. Thanks guys!!! I had eliminated the pruge crap some time back and just capped those off, the stock bov was routed at the vac distribution block (prevous owner installed) but i dont think it was ever working anyway where it was as the same noise was heard now with the new bov routed from the same spot. so i figured i would move it to the TB where i have always put them. Just had the wrong port haha.
Yup its deceiving till u look in throttlebody with it off the manifold.
