i purchased the TU turbo water lines and the front line from the t-stat (the bended one) hit the side of the head , seems to be an inch missing there , i had to take a lot of the bend off to clear the head ... just dont want anybody to get that problem , now its look likes s****

the pic doesnt show much but you can see the bend i had to take off to only clear the side of the head

The manufacturer sent us a bad batch of tubes where they reversed the lengths. We caught most of them before they went out but a few did slip throught he cracks and were shipped to customers. Please send us an email so we can get a new one to you.

    Thanks!

Normally I clear up a problem with the vendor before I post about it, to give them a chance to make it right and ask them if it's OK to post about it. I hate dragging a vendor's name through the mud if they havent been given a chance to remedy the situation.

Sent the address off to him the day I heard from the customer. My contact at the vendor has left the office already today so I can't do much until Monday. This is the second replacement we have sent. Something tells me we may have the wrong address.

They have always shipped replacements out immediately when we notify them. Not sure why yours isn't getting to you. Bad address was only a guess. Already sent them an email and will follow up with a phone call on Monday.

    Re: turbo water lines

    PM'd you the trackinginfo.

We recently redesigned our coolant lines and no longer make the same 90 degree tubes up front. So, our supplier sent you a new tube and braided steel hose all the way to the back of the turbo.

Let us know when you receive it.

    Thanks!

We received the email but pictures did not work. Could you resend to us?

We caught most of the faulty kits before they went out but a few did slip through the cracks. Our manufacturer is really good about these things and will ship direct to you.

    Thanks!

Would you mind snapping pic's of the back side of the eng. so I can see the rest of the lines. Where going to do it this week coming up. Did you crome the intake and valve cover?

    Re: turbo water lines

Hey Chris, I am still waiting for the TIII coolant lines I ordered last January (order #4827). There may have been some confusion in the order because they were not originally on the order since the turbocharger I had you guys rebuild at the time was not water-cooled, but after talking with you on the phone I upgraded to a water-cooled center section as well as a couple other things including the coolant lines (+$70).

It really hasn't been that big a deal to me to wait though, as you always get me my parts and I'm pretty sure I have the slowest progressing projects on all the forum.

    Jeremy,

You are right. I just checked your order and did not see the coolant lines. I did find them after reading through the notes though. Unfortunately, notes do not print on the packing slip so I can see how the lines were missed. Shoot me a PM so I can get some info and get the lines out to you.

    Thanks!
