So i got alot fixed on th 85 shelby, the 13 code it gone, as well as the 24, and it is not runing nearly as rich and it goes down the road nice and spools great.. but after i fire it up and rip it down the road, pull back in my drive way, and as i let it idle it starts to bellow smoke, and it smells like burning oil...but its not smoking during driving or initial start and idle, its after i rip it and let it idle down? any suggestions???
02 sensor, i had a 88 z that would be fine on start up then half way home stared to run like ---- and smoke ,was loading up real bad. if its still o/e one change it.

if it is belching smoke from the exhaust and smells like oil then i would guess that your turbo has headed south.
IMO,sounds like the turbo also

could also be a messed up PCV system
Make sure the oil return hose leading to the block isn't pinched closed. Also, apparently the rubber can collapse on the inside and clog things up while still appearing fine on the outside...I haven't seen it in person, but have read about it happening to others. Good luck

hopefully the car will go to the shop today, so i can stop working in the snow, and freezing cold. im gunna look into the pcv system and the oil return hose first and just pray that the turbo is fine. like i said it starts nice, no codes anymore, take it on the road jump on it goes to 15lbs of boost, clutch seems nice shifts smooth, come back to the drive way stop the car (movement wise) and let it idle and i starts to smoke and pretty bad.....the return line being jacked up sounds pretty plauseable to me. i guess one step at a time.
