Shadow ES V6 bulge hood on '89 Sundance

I got the hood to at least close, but it looks like crap, kinda sticks up and don't close properly. It seems like it's hitting underneath, but I can't see or figure out where!

What do I have to do to make this work? I know the latches are different, but the bolt holes for the latches are also different. What can I do to make this work? I have my old latch too.

What year hood? the newer ones have a different latch, maybe use the one off the 89 hood on it?

The hood's from a '92 ES I believe. The old latch and newer hood's got different mounting holes.

Got a drill? Is it the right sze to drill a couple new holes in the 89 latch?

I'm gonna do this tomorrow...I'm more worried about where it seems like it's hitting something under there and not letting the hood close all the way. I can't find where it's hitting. I know there is bracing under there and different clearances for the 3.0....I was hoping someone had done this before me and had some advise.

I did it on my 89 sundance. I didnt have any issues with anything hitting. just had to drill some holes for the latch. everything else fits fine.

V6 hoods have a different brace than turbo hoods. Chances are its hittin sumpthin unnerneath.

93 es shadow hood off a V6 auto car. Green if you must know. onto a 89 sundance. (purple) 2.5 turbo auto-then manual car. hood fit fine.
