Cant be the first to come across this issue.. 42LE transmission used in the LH cars uses two male type output shafts that the CV axles engadge on with an internal snap ring to hold everything together. Take a couple years of road exposure, salt, moisture and they rust and grind eachother into powder.
Replace the wornout CV axles with new units and the slop only gets worse...

Did chrysler ever release a TSB or service notice on this and come up with a suitable solution besides replacing both of those output shafts ?
