This car sat for a while with no engine and me and my roommate just put it back together. I just got it started today and it shoots right to 2500 rpm. I pulled the ais apart and it looked fine, the computer moves it alright. I installed all new vac lines (unless there is some hidden port on the 2 piece) It has me stumped. Tomarrow I will hook the OTC to it and see what that says
Any suggestions?

Looking at my 2 piece intake in my room BAM! there it is, the support bracket hole that breaks through into the intake. The PO bought the car with a broken piston and he bought a lightweight T1 engine and swapped the intake and exhaust manifolds over to it but never put the engine in, I remember the support bracket still being bolted to the old head.

Yep, very common oversight on those intakes. Been there, done that.
