1986 New Yorker Turbo 2.2 ATX with two piece passenger side axle. Outer CV boot. I'm not interested in a reman axle that has more miles than mine (34k)
Problem is rock auto returns about 30 results when I search for my car, and I'd like to order today. I don't have access to the car right now. It seems there are like three or four different axle brands my car might have....
I filtered out the ones that clearly don't belong, universal fit stuff, quick boots, and some brands I've never heard of. I have a few that still remain.
Things I'm seeing- GKN, Citroen, Saginaw, ACI, Shaft with Y shaped inner housing, Welded inner housing, Rounder inner housing that is not tapered or welded.
Does knowing I have a two piece set up and my year narrow it down a bit further for you guys? Maybe only one or two manufactures made the two piece style? Any info would be appreciated.
