Thanks,yeah me too, the 3rdgen's are rare around me im the only one on i see in my area(except some drag cars). well the daytona too, the mustang are everywhere but few 79-86s, took me awhile to get all t-top cars

Its amazing how similar the firebird and daytona look. The side glass, spoiler, headlights, even the hood scoop... Was one a copy of the other, or were they both designed by the same guy?

3rd gen F-bodies were produced from 82-92,
Daytonas were produced from 84-93.

As far as designers, not a clue.

I have a weakness for the third gen f-bodies and the "four eyed" fox cars.
I have to ask which one is the quickest??

I love that stang. Very sharp for sure. the older fox bodies have a little more character imo. that firebird is very nice too. I had a friend who bought an 89 formula that had been quickly repainted. He wet sanded and buffed it replaced the graphics and put some really nice billet wheels on it. then put a chip in and cat back from dynomax. I think it was nearly as quick as a TPI car after all that. Unfortunately the girl he sold it to never washed it and let it go. I'm guessing it doesn't look so nice anymore.
Also what kind of wheels are those on that tona? Those are freaking sweet!

I have had 3 of the four eyed mustang but one was just a track car and the mustang is by far the fastest is been 11.08 @123 with a 125 shot . but the firebird is getting a blower after taxes so it should no be far behind, the wheels on the daytona are borbet wheels FS 18x8.5

I think cars and concepts did the F-body and i know for sure the Fox mustang t-tops as well. Some F-body's where done in house too.

Besides my Mopars, I'm a big fan of the 89 SHO Taurus.
