    Jumping Neon Fuel Pump

I've had to do this a couple times now to test my FP so I thought I would lay out the procedure here.

You need to access the relay bank behind the battery and remove the FP relay.

Next get a juper wire and attach one end to the slot in the fuse block shown and another to the battery. You can see the blue wire I used to do this in the pics.

With the jumper wire in place you will get power at the FP plug so you can test it to make sure the wiring is good. The power and ground for the FP are the two outermost sockets in the plug.

I jumped the FP yesterday due to the fact that it was dieing. I was lucky enough to beat on the tank a little with the handle on a screwdriver and it kept going enough to drain the tank.

Here are the pics. Full size versions are in my gallery if you need them.
