    L body rear disk brake conversion pics

    i know there is alot of info and pics of the L body rear disk brake setup, but I think one think that is over looked or rarely mentioned is finding a way to use the mounting bracket that connects the hard line on the axle, to the caliper flex line.

    so id just like to show you a very easy and clean, clever install to make this happen. I know of 2 different style brackets for this. I chose to use the straight one that i believe came from an 89-90 rear disk car. I ended up chopping most of the bracket off, and drilling and taping a hole into the bracket, and obviously drilling a clearance hole in the rear axle. I really should put the bolt in the other way and add a nylon nut to ensure that it does not go anywhere, but you get the idea

    Which setup? The rear was easy the front I have Alot of time into.

    I wish mine was powdercoated but were unsure if were done Welding on it. It might be two stiff there's more than just that bar there. There's more pics in my build thread along with all that's done to the front also

    polybushing anti-rear sway bar 1.125" for L body. its on their website. I also have the front 1.25" end link style sway bar they sell

    i have pics of those installed as well....im really diggin your rear setup tho, that def musta stiffened things up! what size bar is that? i dont think you could have chosen a better location, that thing is all boxed up

    I think it's either 1 1/4 or 1 3/4 it's been awhile but it's .065 wall. I like this piece better than that rear bar
