I'm looking for a pair of MT's - 24.5 x 8 x 15, or 14's if they exist. I want to see if the Daytona leaves better with a bigger tire. I have a pair of MT 22 x 8 x 15 to trade, if desired. But, I can also buy them outright...

i have a used pair of 24.5 x 7 x 13
there is some dry rot on the sidewall but other then that there is MAD tread on them.
I saw you had them posted - unfortunately, I don't think I can fit 13" wheels on the Daytona.
Even if they did fit over the brakes, I don't have any.
yeah I was told that you need K car 9" front rotor/brakes to run a 13" rim up front. I have a set of steelies that I could try to put over the car but they go really narrow inside where the 2 pieces meet and welded 2gether.
however my 13" bogarts fit great over a set of the 14" turbo mini brake package with 60mm caliper
i will have to test the steelies one day, and see if they can work with some spacers.
which brakes r u running??? the 9" K car rotor ones??
or the 14" turbo mini setup???
ill swap on the steelies n see if they if. the bogart rim has a much nicer design inside and def makes room for more clearance.
but ya if u got the 9" rotor they should fit. thats what the previous owner had on the omni to fit these steelies.
as for price i was asking 150 for the tires, i could let the steelies go with them....might even be some items that interest me on your BB website...never checked it out yet but looking for things to help me do some datalogging
PM me an email and i can send you a bunch of pics I had taken the other day.
I have the minivan brakes on the Daytona. The 14" Centerlines I have clear fine, seems like 13's might fit. It just depends on the front area where the caliper is. I have to use spacers to clear the CL's up there, otherwise they rub on the radius.
Hmm... $150 and you're in Windsor. Seems like a good deal to me. I think I want to give them a shot...
If you could make it out this way some weekend, I'd let you take a pass on the 24.5x8.5's and the 23x7's...
I *might* have 24.5's for sale if I try to fit 26's

24.5 x 15's? What size rim are the 23's for? I'm tempted to get Juggy's tires. The only problem is it forces me to get new wheels for the front - which I really don't want to do. Centerline doesn't make 13" wheels, and I can't afford Bogarts or Keizers right now. I have 15" CL's on the car now, and I have 14" CL's on the shelf. Unfortunately, the only tire anyone seems to make for the 14's anymore is the MT 20 x 8 x 14. And I have a set of those already...
15" rims for 24.5's and 23's
I'd guess 23's will work better... 24.5's might be too much like on my Shadow.
Check M&H I thought they made a 14" tire?

M&H doesn't pay contingency like MT does. I'll stick with MT's, they've essentially paid for themselves.
I have a 3.50 final drive in the Daytona now (and I could go 3.77 with R&P change). I want to try the 24.5's. It will lower my crossing RPM from 5800 to ~5200, but I think that's fine. I shift at 5100 anyway. It will also load up the car on the starting line better - I hope.
Let me know if you're going to sell them.
Good call on contincency!
Yeah, 24.5's will hook well for you.
I'll let you know... might not be for a while tho.

Bump, I think I want to stick with the 15" wheels. I can't afford to invest in new wheels right now...
Bump, still looking. Looks like my spare 22's sold, so I have have cash to burn right now...
Anyone know of anyone who has a set of 24.5 x 8 x 15 MT's for sale? This cash is getting really hot... I need to spend it on tires before my wife finds out I have it...
Year old bump. It's the off-season (now, last race was yesterday) and I'm looking for these tires again. I'll prolly end up buying new if/when my red Daytona sells, but I thought I'd try the used route again.
Also, not looking for 14's anymore. I sold those rims in September...
if you cant find any on the forum contact these guys, they got good deals on used tires. http://www.jbracingtires.net/avon.htm
No Avon's; I only want MT's... Mickey pays contingency which ends up making the tires free after a couple of years...
