    Masi 16v engine section

Is there a possibility of a Masi engine section, seeing as there are now a few of us running this drivetrain...

I understand us Masi guys are still BY FAR the smallest group of people if you look at 8v, TIII, etc, but still, we have Alan, he could fill a whole Masi 16v engine section on his own.

Well . . . . Brad is the guy who was wearing that tin foil hat. LOL Love ya bro.

Yeah, I vote for a Masi sub-forum. As it is, the data is too scattered and inaccessible. If we could start concentrating it . . . . . it would be a good thing, a great benefit to those who need it and little cost to the forum.

    Re: Masi 16v engine section

Possibly the best solution would be for the current T-III 16v factory engine forum be renamed 16v Factory Engines and then have subforums for both the T-III and Masi motors.

All the current posts in the existing forum would be moved to the new T-III section. Then as the Masi enthusiasts identify the Masi only threads to the TM staff, they could be moved to the new subforum. Of course all new Masi threads would go in the new subforum.

Any threads that need to be split to separate where both engines have comments could be done also. But only as the Masi guys identify them to the TM staff.

Having you guys find all the needed moves would lessen the work load on the TM staff and spread the work around some. Something like if you guys want a separate forum, then you guys contribute effort to sort out the existing stuff.

But don't start sending links of threads to move before the new subforum is
created. This is only a suggestion on my part, Frank hasn't weighed in with an opinion on it yet.

    Thoughts?

    Re: Masi 16v engine section

While this may not be as popular to some as having their own forum, there just isn't an overwhelming demand, however understanding the need to identify, I took Barry's suggestion and change the name to 16v Engines and then created color coded thread prefixes for the three engine types to help you identify what is Masi 16v, TIII, and 2.4L/SRT.

Please help us to identify threads that need to be changed that are of significance. The beauty of thread prefixes, is that you can filter for only that prefix.

Ditto to your Masi's, there aren't enough to warrant a section either. 1000's of van to 10 engines, hmmmmmmmmm, no brainer.

    Re: Masi 16v engine section

If someone had a Masi motor in a Van and had some issues getting it running they would more than likely go to a Masi engine section first.
