MOMO steering wheel in a charger

I want something other than the giant bus steering wheel that is in my shelby charger. Has anybody used a MOMO or Grant steering wheel in their car? What needs to be done to be able to use one? I'd like something smaller than the stocker, like maybe a 350mm wheel.

I know Grant used to make an adapter, not sure if they still do, but you'll probably need a spacer too.

I picked up a wheel off of TD a while back. It has a spacer with it to keep your knuckles from hitting the dash. It looks to be a grant wheel, but I cant tell for sure. All I know is that my legs can actually fit under the wheel a little now rather than having to be outside of it like I was driving a small gocart.

I dislike the bulky stock wheel also and so I replaced mine with a Grant. I used the #4315 install kit and #4000 spacer kit to clear the dash. It would have worked without the spacer, but only if my fingers were pencil thin.

For my brother's Turismo, we bought a Shelby steering wheel and hub from an '87 Shelby Lancer, then bought a spacer from FWD Performance. It fits very well, plus looks nearly factory

MOMO use to make an adapter, but not any more. Plenty of room for your hands, it's just a bit more of a reach to the turn indicator arm.

I drove my '85 SC for about 20 minutes with the stocker, which is the time it took me to get to the MOMO dealer

Is the shelby wheel a Momo? I may be searching for an adapter soon.

    No it's not.

The Shelby medallion, which is glued to the MOMO horn button, I bought new, which I ordered from the dealer for a CSX.
