    rear main seal?

    went to go get a rear main seal from autozone. they have 2 options. a rubber one and a teflon one. anyone use the teflon? what one should i get?

    I believe the one I used was teflon, it was a timkin seal.

    Both will work, but neither will fix the groove worn into the crank. If that is the case install the seal .060 past its old position. Make sure its pretty even.
    BTW Ive used both types, the teflon is kinda a pita to put on but worked as well. Read the instructions for the teflon **NO LUBRICANT MAKE IT DRY**
