Im looking for a radiator to install this week but I cant find any new ones and mine is leaking This is for a Turbo/intercooled car, But if a non intercooled radiator will work I will use that instead. I have a front mount intercooler and should be able to fit a bigger rad. Has any body put a non intercooled rad in a Daytona Shelby? Need to get this resolved this week as I have a few comming to look at my car.
That's old news, they haven't been made for years, you either get yours rebuilt, install the larger non turbo rad or one of these-

That aint right, there a place by me that make brand new 1s i bought 1 for my 91 lebaron for like 150 it was fukn nice all new shiny aluminum or whatever it was.
any idea on how much they cost to get rebuilt? Sounds pricy, and Im just selling the car so no need for anything fancy.
There's a guy in Indy that can re-do them fairly cheap. Paul's radiator Shop on Tibbs ave. Great work and has been there forever.Originally Posted by Mopar318

Seriously? Non ic rads will fit just fine. Need the longer lower hose.
??? GO to the yard find one thats close and install it. I put a glh rad in a Ford Probe. Fabbing up some mounts isnt a big deal, neither is the rad hoses.
An Lbody rad should be a pretty close fit for an intercooled Daytona Shelby, but as others have said, you may need to fabricate some mounts.

I'm using an early TI radiator in my Daytona with a FMIC
A non-intercooled rad will bolt right in as long as your i/c pipes go through the nose in the right spot. When I put my daytona back together I'll probably go with a non-intercooled radiator setup and that'll be with 3" i/c tubing going by on either side.
Figured out non intercooled rad would be in the way of my charge pipe. Not going to change my charge pipes around. Getting the rad repaired for a good price at a local place.
