    92 Daytona interior into a 90.

How difficult would this swap be? There's a 92 with a fairly pristine interior in the local UPNP near me, plastics are all solid and uncracked, the only thing it would need is the upholstery cleaned. Only other issues are the console is for an automatic, I have a 5-speed, the doors are manual crank windows, and no Enthusiast seats.

My door panels are starting to develop weathering cracks in the top, and some of my plastic interior trim is cracked is why I'm considering this swap, plus I like the taller vertical console/lower center console of the 92 and up better than the 90. Any suggestions?

It's all plug n play. All it takes is time.

92 and later have a lower console, with the vertical console being correspondingly taller; I think they borrowed it from the LeBaron.

I have a nice 90 manual console that I would get rid of.

    1993 interior

    1990 interior

SHows the differences if you look closely; the 92 is taller at the dash, shorter at the console than the 90.

Thanks, but not needed. What I'm looking for is a 92 and up Manual console.

Actually the console is 90 specific. The 91-93 consoles are the same.

What you would need is the plate that the shifter mounts to and the console and carpet and the heater/vent/radio panel from a 91-93 car to swap into the 90......

So an auto console would not work?

Did you mix up the links by chance? The one you have labeled as '93 looks just like my '90.

Nope; the 93 has a shorter console.m Your sig line says you have a 91 IROC...they share the interior with the 93's.
