another "help me pick a turbo" thread

well ive been racking my brain over which turbo to get. heres what i have

94 shadow- pretty major weight reduction, no interior no dash , light weight racing buckets. ive shaved close to 400 pounds off the car so far.
2.2 TII short block, stock except for arp fasteners
655 head, oversized valves, 2.2 N/A roller cam
intake- dont have it yet but will more than likely be a heavily worked over 2 piece
exhaust- custom tubular stainless hedder with external wastegate, 3 inch all the way back, no cat. may be positioning turbo over the trans, yet to be determined.

car currently has a 5 speed, but am more than likely going with an auto w 3000 rpm stall.

since im going to build my own hedder i wont be limited by what housings are avaliable that have a chrysler flange. also makes it easier to pull the trigger if i find a smokin deal on somthing.

im not worried about lag at all, primarily a drag car with occasional street appearances.

since im not running forged i plan on keeping the boost below 20 psi untill i build a short block that can take more abuse.

looking to make around 350 hp to the wheels

a super 60 looks like an ideal choice but i want a little headroom for later on down the road, plus i dont want to run a chrysler style turbo so i can run an external gate and have an excuse to sit in the garage and weld all weekend.

my cousin ran a GT3076R in his evo, spooled up very quickly- 30 psi by 2400 or so. im kinda leaning that direction. i know comparing spool time between a 4G63 and an 8 valve is like comparing apples to oranges, but i dont think there will be that big of a difference.

    any advice?

You're gonna need more stall speed than that for a GT3076R.

to4e 50 trim... in the correct compressor housing, it should be good for what you want, up to 400 hp if you need...

GT30R, 50 or s50 T3/T4 or an HE351CE or if you want room to grow, GT35R.

You need at least stock stall if not 4000+ if running the GT35R.
