Parting out a 1990 VNT Daytona Shelby

    Located in San Antonio, TX

Parts already taken: 568 trans, front and rear brakes, long block sale pending.
There are still some good parts left over including the radiator / intercooler setup, turbo with very little shaft play, all of the plumbing ,wiring harness, computer, solenoids, set of four silver pumpers with the CS logo center caps, one glass Marchal fog light, ect…

We’ll be pulling the engine and transmission out on Saturday so I will have a better idea of the condition of the critical parts. The interior is in great shape and all of the exterior trim is complete with the exception of the air dam, it is complete but has some extensive cracking.

The car might be around for another week so let me know what you need and we’ll work something out.

The pics actually make the car look worse than it is. It could definitely be cleaned up and the only rust and body damage i know of is surface rust from lack of paint, and maybe a tiny bit in easy spots on the LR quarter with one small dent.. The interior is pretty dang decent.

Dont push the red button. You hear me?

How much for the Turbo, SBEC, intake, and exhaust manifolds?

Edit: too bad you didn't have this up 3 weeks ago...I could have drove down from Weatherford and helped you strip it!

I thought the inside door bottoms of Daytonas are supposed to be brown and flaky. Wow, the side ground effects look like they attach to metal.

    This is just horrible.

If someone can save that car as a whole, great.

Otherwise, I want the turn signal/reflector housings out of the nose, and the plastic dash panel under the steering column.

Do try to save as much of that interior as possible. Black interiors are tough to find in any year, and more so in these years.

As of right now, there is a pending sale for the body and engine wiring harness. I will keep this thread updated with the progress.

Other notable items of interest still available include the Turbo which seems to have surprisingly little shaft play. The vane actuator arm appears to move freely. The manifolds (minus fuel injectors), computer, and radiator / inter cooler setup are still available. The charge piping, air box setup, and turbo lines are still also available.

Edit: Forgot to mention the four CS pumpers which I believe have no curb check.

Re: Parting out a 1990 VNT Daytona Shelby

The previous deal fell through so I am once again offering up the rolling chassis and wiring harness.
For the body I am looking just for the scrap value so $200 will do it. Here's a couple more pick of the underside.
