    Chrysler Southern Classic Oct. 8,9,10

What a great event when the weather is cooling down and getting really nice!

I'll be there with the OMNI, Dad with the Charger, and Mom with the SRT, and my buddies with their (2) 73 Cuda's, and a 74 Scamp. Last year we also had Fleck running his Spurt R/T and the crowd LOVED IT!

    More info here:

    http://www.mpdragway.com/

Free camping at the track and camp fires allowed!

Located in BEAUTIFUL Clay City, KY very close to Red River Gorge and the Natural Bridge!

    Make it a family outing!

Sounds like fun.. I'll bring the Charger or the Daytona... Can you get your boost refilled at this track or do I need to bring my own?

They have 110, 112, and 116 octane, as well as a nitrous refill center, but unfortunately, they do not have a boost refill station. You'll have to bring your own. What I ended up doing was just installing an air compressor on my car so whenever I need a refill, I just turn this little valve and hit the throttle.

I don't *think* they have any hookups, but I'm not sure on that. We have just been pitching a tent (<That's what she said!) and they have nice bathrooms...not sure if they have showers. It's Kentucky afterall.

It also known as a very sticky track
I'm trying to get there this Friday to do some testing/tuning.

It's so sticky at that track that I hear you can break axles shifting into 2nd on street tires!

Check and see if they do, I might bring down the van and throw a bed in the back.

Since no answer at the track, I emailed a friend that goes there often.....he said they don't have RV hookups or showers.

He said the same thing I did......"They have nice restrooms!" LOL

Heck yes bring the Neon! Woot!

I think it was mostly bracket racing. I know it was pretty cheap to race, but I don't remember for sure. Clay King's Dad is going to call the track to find out for us.
